Inner West Harbour Cricket Awards Night

Well done to all the Leichhardt Wanderers junior cricketers who won awards on Sunday 30th July at the IWHJCA Awards night. Although we didn't win many premierships this year we were very well represented on stage for individual honours and it was great to see so many of our juniors accepting their awards in person.

IWHJCA Boys Player of the Year I'd like to make a special mention of Aryan Nair who won the IWHJCA Junior Player of the Year. Aryan played last season in our U17 Boys team and has been a player with Leichhardt Wanderers since he was 8 years old (although he mistakenly played for Concord Briars for one season).

Girls U13 Mollie Dive Team

The IWHJCA U13 Girls Representative team were recognised with the biggest cheer of the night for their performances in 2022/23. They were the first ever IWHJCA representative girls' team to win the NSW Youth Championship, but they also won the Spirit of Cricket Award (judged by the Umpires).
