All SCL competitions will be trialling the Split Season structure. Meaning there will be a GF match between 1st and 2nd on the ladder prior to Christmas and then a competition restart (with potential team changes and additions) until the end of Summer in March. This will allow for multiple divisions and movement between divisions between Spring and Summer seasons. Additionally, clubs will be able to take registrations mid-season for new players and enter new teams into the Summer Competitions if they wish to do so.

Sunday competitions will move to a new age range of U13 and U15s on Synthetic to replace the U12, U13 and U14 comps in season 2022/23. This will allow for a wider range of teams within those competitions and give the competition the possibility of creating more divisions and allowing for movement between them in Spring and Summer.
